Into the depths, that's where you'll find your truest friend.
As I siphon through the emotional outpouring of my mind, I find two things consistently in abundance: love and fear. They bubble under the surface of my skin, waiting for the right touch to set them free. I find raw power in their pull. I find enjoyment in their opposition. I spent years running from fear. The desire to live free of fear nearly killed the love in me. The desire for comfort only dissolved my humanity. Love without fear is too sickly sweet to swallow. Fear without love is a thick sludge coating my tongue. But, when I make room for both, there grows in me a pungent soul reeking of life. A soul worth indulging.
